What is Cellulite?
Cellulite is pockets of fat cells that become trapped in your body's fibrous connective tissue just below the skin. The blood supply and lymphatic drainage from the area wher the fat is trapped are compromised, as is the removal of fluid from the surrounding tissue. Without proper circulation, the ft cells and surrouding tissue can swell, causing skin to dimple.
What is Endermologie?
Endermologie is treatment technique that combines the positive pressure from massage rollers with the negative pressure from suction to disrupt the trapped fat and increase circulation. Endermologie is FDA-pproved to:
- temporarily, yet effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite;
- increase circulation;
- relieve minor muscle aches and pains; and
- relax muscle spasms.
The Endermologie experience is a comprehensive, non-surgical approach which embraces the physical and aesthetic needs of the whole body using a patented technique proven safe and effective.
How is the procedure done?
Endermologie is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure. It combines suction and a motorized massage head to gently lifts and stimulates the skin. This increases circulation and aids in the release of fluid trapped in the body tissues whic helps in the break down of deposits of cellulite and improves the definition of body shape.
Endermologie sessions each last approximately 35 minutes, and several sessions a week for several weeks are needed for best results (8-15 total). During each session you will wear a body stocking or pantihose to allow the machine to glide more easily over your skin while you lie on the treatment bed.
Who performs the procedure?
Our extensively trained Endermologie technicians will perform your procedure.
What areas can be treated with Endermologie?
